Rhonda's Rock

I was told about playlist in 2008. The first list I made was of some older rock listed below. Later I made a list of newer songs which are posted to the right. This is the playlist I listen to the most often and is my main source of music, it does change a bit regularly. After playlist I listen to Pandora and CD's. I like to play these songs when I'm home alone working. I like music for all sorts of reasons; I may like the words, the music, it might amuse me, or I may like to sing along or dance to it.

Classic Rock

This is the first playlist I made. I guess I wanted to start with some music I was the most familiar with. I spent several years as a disk jockey and news director at various times in the 80's. I started this list with a few classic rock songs, but I somehow ended up with a huge list of songs from the mid 60's through the end of the 70's.

I really enjoyed doing this, it was a musical trip through my entire childhood. I spent New Years eve of 1979-1980 running a top 100 countdown at KCAP in Helena, Mt. at the ripe old age of 15. I left Helena that year and went to Colville for the rest of high school, then after a year in Aberdeen I went back to Helena and shortly there after back to radio, where I eventually had an afternoon show at KBLL. It was certainly the most enjoyable occupation I ever had. I did that until 1989 when I moved to Arizona.

I really enjoyed going through the music again. When I made this playlist it had been several years since I had last listened to many of these songs. My albums, 45's (yes those too), and cassettes, (ok a few 8 tracks but I've had nothing to play those in for many, many years anyway) are all covered in piles of Arizona dust. I have no idea what I should do with them now?

Anyway I believe this turned out to be reasonably nice mix. I spent several days listening and fine tuning it. There were a few songs I couldn't find that I would have liked to put in, and a couple songs that have minor flaws, which I think is just kind of how this player system works for now. If you like classic rock you might enjoy going through and listening to a few tracks. I think I have a couple nice surprises in there. Hopefully there should be a few to please most.
